Homeopathy

One of the most miraculous and amazing treatments in this world, homeopathy has unfortunately gained an unfavorable, negative reputation by conventional medicine. If you speak to people who have experience using homeopathy, you will hear incredible stories of people healing overnight from diseases and symptoms that have plagued them for decades. The opponents of homeopathy, usually people who have absolutely no experience with it and do not understand how it works, will tell you that it is only sugar pills that can never cure you.

I have worked with homeopathy for over 15 years, and it never ceases to amaze me. I always say, there is no magic pill, but if there was one, homeopathy is closest.

What is homeopathy?

Homeopathy works in a completely different way to heal the body than we are used to. Unlike with conventional medicine practitioners that give you a substance to stop your symptoms, homeopathic practitioners give you a substance that is known to cause your symptoms. Homeopathy works on an energetic level and uses such a diluted amount of the substance, that there is only the energetic imprint of that substance left; you are not getting any actual material.  It works to stimulate your body’s vital force to heal itself. Sounds woo woo, I know, but it works!

Different types of homeopathy

Homeopathy is used in many different ways.  There is constitutional prescribing where you are given one remedy that is specific to you and covers all of your symptoms.  There is acute prescribing for acute illness like cold, flu, injuries, tooth pain, gastroenteritis, sprains, concussions, childhood illness, asthma attacks, etc. Here homeopathy shines! I have seen acute symptoms resolve in a matter of minutes. There is organ therapy where we prescribe certain remedies to improve organ functioning like liver and heart. There are cell salts that give you specific minerals that your body requires. There is gemmotherapy, a way of clearing the body of toxins to improve functioning. There is Biotherapeutic Drainage which helps the body detoxify. This is to name a few.

I have been practicing homeopathy for many years and have seen dramatic results, results you do not get from placebo. I use homeopathy because it works. I use all types of homeopathy in combination with other modalities as I have found this works best. Prescriptions are based on the individual needs of the person upon assessment of the case during the initial consult.
